The NIAAA Section I Summer Institute is a premier professional development program designed to support and advance interscholastic athletic administrators throughout the Northeast. Hosted annually within Section I of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), the Summer Institute brings together athletic directors, educators, and leaders to collaborate, learn, and grow in the field of athletic administration.
This multi-day program offers a comprehensive blend of Leadership Training Courses (LTCs), professional workshops, and networking opportunities with peers and mentors from across the region. Participants gain valuable insight into best practices in athletic leadership, legal and ethical standards, program management, and student-athlete development.
The Summer Institute fosters a collegial environment focused on professional growth, certification advancement (RAA, CAA, CMAA), and the continued pursuit of excellence in educational-based athletics. Whether you are new to athletic administration or an experienced director seeking renewal and connection, the Section I Summer Institute provides the tools, knowledge, and relationships to help you thrive.
